Fine Dinning

A graduate from Staffordshire university, I studied photography while in my education I took a

particular interest in still life photography taking inspiration from a variety of practitioners in

the gene I focused my final show on fine art photography

Food is the thing that brings us all together, it is a way of communicating between people and

ideas, or feelings the fragility of life hanging by a single thread. To see the title ‘Fine Dining’

would suggest the sole purpose of this collection of work is a commercial one, however this is

not the case. Fine art adds a creative element to my commercial work that would see the

collection sit comfortably in a commercial setting and in a gallery setting. The collection of

work I have created is not strictly fine art, but a combination of fine art and commercial work.

If I strip my work back to the basics, what you get is simply everyday objects you find in your

home.

in Liam's words living with autism

I made this project with my son Liam.

In Liam’s words, Living with Autism to show that although you do not see a physical disability it can be there, if people look more closely, they can see the person and people it affects directly and indirectly. So many times, throughout Liam's short life so far receive comments like “oh he looks normal you would think anything is wrong with him” The project itself is social documentary and observational, it is intended to inform the audience of how a disability can be invisible and a how a person with autism sees think and feel. To show a very real but unique way of living with autism.
